We are looking for a software engineer intern who has experience writing code in C++ and will help us maintain and implement a variety of new gameplay, user interface, tools and online features for future titles.
As a strong candidate, you are not afraid to challenge design ideas and technical plans. Furthermore, you are open-minded to change and work efficiently. DICE finds it vitally important that you actively find ways to improve our products and studio. You will collaborate with creative and passionate team members within DICE Los Angeles and have fun doing so!
Skills desired:
• Enrolled in a BSc in Computer Science or Computer Engineering program or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of various languages, in particular C++
• Experience developing gameplay-related systems
• Flexibility and desire to work on a variety of game systems
• Able to work closely and iteratively with game designers and an active community
• Understanding of concurrency, memory and performance
• Self-driven with a strong sense of quality
• Great communication skills that supports an open working environment in terms of feedback
