Position: Software Engineer in Test (Principal)
Job Duties: Develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions as part of a team responsible for building a highly compelling eCommerce experience. Create test plans based on product user stories and team performance of manual and automated testing to ensure high-quality delivery. Test software covering multiple eCommerce channels including in-product purchasing, eStore purchasing and the commerce and entitlement platform behind the user experiences. Work with agile team to test features and functionality to ensure high quality delivery of each sprint that conforms to user story acceptance criteria. Design and build test automation frameworks for Company’s cloud-based commerce services. Responsible for testing, troubleshooting and debugging developed features. Work closely with product design and product management to understand requirements and translate them into test plans for functional and regression testing. Provide leadership to other team members in test case definition, execution and automation. Prepare and lead the review cycle of test plans/test cases.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, followed by 9 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a software test/quality assurance (QA)-related occupation.
Special Requirements: Following skills must have been gained through experience as specified:
1) At least two years of experience in Functional Automation for Web, SOAP, XML RPC, Rest API, and Mobile Applications;
2) At least two years of experience using Performance Testing Tools: HP Load Runner and COSBench;
3) At least two years of experience using Load Testing Tools: JMeter and NeoLoad;
4) At least two years of experience with Frameworks: Web/UI - Page Object Model;
5) At least two years of experience with Programming Languages: Java, Python, Perl, and C;
6) At least two years of experience with Code Repositories: Stash, Git and Perforce;
7) At least two years of experience using Build Tool: Maven, CI Tool – Jenkins;
8) At least two years of experience with Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, Ubuntu, and CentOS; and
9) At least six years of project lead experience.
