Overview:
The Social Media Content Manager is responsible for constantly curating and creating exceptional content for the brand’s online presence. The role is the primary owner of the social media content calendar, and works closely with the Digital Community Coordinator to execute the social media strategy.
The Content Manager also maintains an acute awareness of all content created by The Studio, as well as key moments that live within the Press, Advertising, Ecommerce, Licensing and Digital departments. The role ensures that Company’s online presence is reflective of the brand image, and the many facets of the Company ethos.
Responsibilities:
• Own the development of weekly, monthly and special project content calendar for all Company-owned social media platforms
• Craft all social media copy and ensure that all digital and social images support the brand voice and style.
• Ensures that all weekly, monthly and special project social media content calendars are clearly communicated to relevant stakeholders, including the Digital, Marketing, Retail, Ecommerce, Licensing and PR teams
• Maintain an always up-to-date knowledge of all photoshoots, press initiatives, retail events, ecommerce schedules and brand content projects. Director of Digital Branding to devise strategies to support these different business entities.
• Receive all magazine editorial coverage of the brands from Public Relations team, and assess press and celebrity coverage that is appropriate for Company social channels.
• Partner with The Studio and Digital teams to ideate and create new content for digital and social platforms
• Collaborate closely with the Community Coordinator to ensure that all content developed for social and digital is platform-native and in line with social media best practices
• Perform weekly optimizations to the content calendar based on analytics reporting provided by the Digital Community Coordinator
• Partner in concepting digital/social strategies for brand events & seasonal initiatives (i.e. runway shows, store openings, ad campaigns, etc.)
• Work with Digital Branding Director to proactively refine the Company visual brand identity on all social media platforms by suggesting relevant influencers, collaborators and identifying innovative content in the industry
• Ensure that Company content is relevant, topical, and included in the content calendar in a timely manner
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred in related area
• Excellent communications skills
