The Site Director successfully leads and manages the Huntsville team through the attraction, development and retention of employees at all levels. S/he establishes and maintains a culture of continuous improvement for employees, the organization as well as for our customers. S/he manages, coaches and motivates the organization in a results-oriented manner, ensuring all direct reports coach and motivate their employees with the proper information, training and resources to be successful S/he promotes leadership at every level in the organization, maximizing empowerment and job satisfaction. Promoting a “Zero-Incident Mindset” and leading the teams to create an injury-free workplace where safety is truly a core value is critical for success in this position.

Leverage your in-depth knowledge of manufacturing site support systems in the areas of Maintenance, Continuous Improvement and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and own the following:
Maintenance of an active working relationship with the business groups, marketing, sales and research & development personnel
Projects associated with manufacturing generated to support the business strategy
Participation in special projects supporting the needs of the corporation and its businesses on an as needed basis
Leadership of the regional operations needs of the organization including Brazil
Established and sustainable solid business relationships with customers
Specific responsibilities include managing the following functions through a team of direct reports:
Ensuring a safe, environmentally sound and efficient operation of the Operations functions within Site, as well as, maximizing productivity and minimizing operating costs, while complying with all federal, state and local regulations
Ensuring production of the required products are on time and at or below budgeted cost
Ensuring production scheduling is aligned with the sales forecast and shipment planning while maintaining production efficiency
Ensuring forecast and usage of supplies and raw materials are effectively balanced between demand and budget
Supporting efforts to commercialize new products and projects designed to improve processes
Ensuring that effective systems of continuous improvement, corrective action, and preventative actions are in place and utilized throughout the organization
Driving Operational Excellence in the manufacturing, maintenance, engineering and quality activities
Ensuring the Site Services Department maintains a favorable company image through effective community relations activities
Disseminating information relating to emergency situations and ensures that adverse effects on personnel and property are minimized both inside and outside the facility property
Ensuring that the Maintenance Department controls and maintains costs, efficiencies and complies with all business/Corporate initiatives
Securing the development of the capital investment strategy for the Site
Verifying reviews and controls of all capital expenditures for the Site
