Agency // Company website is seeking an experienced Search Engine Optimization Specialist to join our full-service digital agency. As part of Company website's premier online marketing group, this digital marketing expert is responsible for successfully implementing and optimizing Search Engine Marketing and Social Media Marketing campaigns for Company website's highest profile clients.
The Search Engine Optimization Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing a holistic Search Engine Optimization campaign including both on and off page techniques. Leveraging highly regarded industry research tools, the specialist will select target keyword categories and define strategy. He or she will oversee implementation and ongoing campaign execution, and is responsible or adjustments based upon campaign performance.
The SEO Specialist will also plan and implement Social Media Marketing and Advertising campaigns on key social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. This includes selection of the appropriate social channel mix and ad types to reach desired audiences and garner desired conversion types.
The SEO Specialist will monitor and analyze performance on a recurring basis. He or she will share findings and proactively collaborate with the Account Manager on campaign strategy and client communications. He or she must successfully operate in a results driven environment, which is measured through campaign results and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Own a dedicated client book and build trusted relationships through advanced knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and Social Media Marketing.
Design, build, maintain and optimize SEO campaigns to achieve optimal performance. Continuously review performance; periodically update keyword approach and budget allocations to maximize performance.
Write and upload interesting, SEO-friendly blog posts, product description, section pages, and resource pages.
Execute SEO edits to existing pages on the website; include title tag, meta description, image alt tag, sitemap, website copy, and heading tag optimization.
Create and implement branding, marketing, or advertising campaigns through Social Media outlets that target the client's intended audience. Monitor and analyze campaign efficiency and adjust techniques or platforms to meet or exceed agreed-upon performance goals.
Post and interact with other social media users on the client's behalf, using appropriate tone and persona.
Create social media ads for Facebook and other social media outlets.
Create, analyze, and track performance updates for clients through monthly reporting and internal management reporting, using tools or manual processes.
Collaborate with Account Management to review performance highlights and consider campaign opportunities related to each client-specific strategy. Innovate to solve complicated client marketing needs and continually enhance customer campaigns.
Effectively communicate campaign approach and performance to marketing- savvy clients. Leverage excellent communication skills to share insight into solutions, and navigate complex SEO and Social Media strategies.
Maintain knowledge of up to date trends, algorithm updates, and other SEO or Social advancements; share changes with the Agency team to promote an education-rich environment.
Required Skills and Experience
A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business or other related field, or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of organic search on Google, Bing, Yahoo; prior online marketing experience required.
Demonstrate proficiency in multiple social media platforms.
Proficient in conducting research online; familiarity with Google Keyword Planner, Trends, and other online planning tools and resources.
Some HTML/website platform experience is necessary (WordPress proficiency, preferred).
Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel applications.
Must demonstrate excellent experience in writing through technical or creative writing.
1-2 years' experience in professional role(s), such as through prior work experience and/or internships.
Excellent communication skills and well organized with strong follow-through.
Previous experience in a fast-paced production environment. Ability to handle a large number of clients, meets deadlines, manage priorities, projects and deliver on deadlines.
Strong ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with the ability to stay organized.
