We are looking for a Sr. Technical Operations Program Manager for Company Locker in North America. Company Lockers are self-service kiosks placed in convenience stores, grocery stores, shopping centers, transit stations, multifamily buildings and other retail locations with high customer density. To pick-up orders or drop-off returns, customers select a Locker on the website; receive a code, and then collect or drop-off the package at their convenience.
The Company Locker team in Seattle is looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join as Sr. Technical Operations Manager. As the Technical Operations Manager you will own the functionality of fleet hardware and software solutions. The role of the Technical Operations Manager will be to ensure Locker uptime by managing the servicing support vendor, reducing the speed with which we respond to outages, developing mechanisms to proactively identify issues that could lead to adverse customer experiences, and driving technical improvements to automate issue response. This role will identify and validate product risks, create reliability/hardware validation test plans and then work with design and product teams to assure product reliability. This role will also support escalations in reliability/hardware validation post production, work with cross-functional teams and other engineers on debugging, failure analysis and fixing issues discovered in the field.
The ideal candidate will exhibit strong project management, analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative climate. Previous experience in IT roll-outs or reliability engineering projects would make for a good platform from which to step into this role. The role will also require expertise both in internal team project management and include the management of a small team of technical personnel.
Relevant experience in hardware/software/engineering projects
Proven leadership skills and experience working with an outsourced service provider
Excellent written and oral communication skills required
Ability to prioritize multiple work-streams
Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
Ability to establish credibility and work with business and technical owners
Bachelor's degree required with an academic focus on Operations Management, Mathematics or Engineering
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics or related fields
Strong analytical abilities, and high proficiency creating in Microsoft Excel
Experience in reliability engineering
