In this role, you will be a member of a team supporting Company Go CX. Please note: this team is not customer-facing.
The Team: We are an internal facing team that is at the core of Company's Just Walk Out Technology that powers Company Go. Go introduces a new retail shopping paradigm with no lines and no checkout. You simply use the Company Go app to enter the store, take what you want from our selection of fresh, delicious meals and grocery essentials, and go. Our checkout-free shopping experience is made possible by the same types of technologies used in self-driving cars: computer vision, sensor fusion, and deep learning.
The Role: You are someone who is willing to roll up your sleeves, enjoys driving process improvements, and thrives in an ambiguous and fast pace environment. The right candidate exhibits high ownership, an ability to deliver results in an ambiguous, fast-paced, dynamic business environment and are highly comfortable exercising fantastic judgment across a spectrum of highly diverse problems. You will interact closely with the operations and tech teams, identify/manage critical projects that improve productivity, increase capacity, and drive efficiency improvements throughout the supply chain.
A successful candidate will:
Have the ability to drive operational improvements in an associate/operations based environment.
Manage cross-functional project teams, planning and organizing, and executing complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders to enable the launch of projects and processes at scale
Build strong partnerships with operations leaders to understand improvement opportunities.
Have the ability to work in fast-paced environment
Confidence operating in a highly ambiguous and iterative business space.
High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
Willingness to challenge and influence senior leaders.
4+ years’ experience in an Change Management role or experience in managing programs in a large scale, multi-geographical, high growth organization. Ideally in fast-paced production/manufacturing/logistics environment.
Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships and work cross-functionally to align and solve shared problems
Experience innovating in a start-up Ops environment
Demonstrated high level written, verbal and interpersonal skills
Experience working with high attention to detail; preparing metrics inputs into reporting to communicate key performance indicators to stakeholders and Sr leadership
MBA, or Advanced Degree
Ability to navigate through ambiguity and build models based on 'what' if scenarios
