The Senior Producer will be responsible for providing hospitality and exceptional customer service to our clients. Senior Producer will work on multiple projects with multiple clients, including internal Company executive team events, and will manage all event aspects including, but not limited to, client management, concept ideation, budgets, logistics, and production from inception to the completion of the activation. The Senior Producer is responsible for ensuring projects are offered to a high standard of quality. Individuals should have the ability to convey a sense of creativity, be flexible and be a fast learner. Senior Producers should be capable of mentoring and advising other Producers within the team.
Collaborate with CNX project teams including, but not limited to, Accounts, Design, Creative, Strategy and Talent.
Mentor and advise other Producers within the team, and act as a leader among the CNX production team.
Produce internal Company executive team events when needed.
Manage all aspects of event production to include concept ideation, vendor selection, logistics, execution, and post event wrap up.
Contract with and manage vendors (including venue, scenic, AV, printers, caterers, graphic designers, developers, etc).
Actively participate in event ideation and RFP’s, and assist with creative project proposals if needed.
Budget creation and management for all assigned events, including presentation of budgets to clients, timely vendor payments, maintaining our agreed upon fee for each project, financial reconciliation of project, etc.
Participate in creative development and brainstorms with internal team to generate project concepts when needed.
Review and edit each project proposal to ensure budget and timeline feasibility of creative concepts.
Effectively communicate client needs and wishes to team, including creative and technical directors/producers.
Work with Company legal and insurance teams to ensure all necessary compliance.
Develop and actively manage vendor/freelance relationships to ensure best available resources and serve as liaison for all vendor matters.
Develop, manage and communicate project timelines for all components of the defined scope and set goals to meet project deadlines.
Oversee vendor contracts and draft Scope of Works for all projects.
Work with city organizations and secure all permitting as needed, as well as understand union labor requirements and convention center rules and regulations.
Lead both internal planning and client meetings with confidence.
Close out all projects as required, including budget reconciliation.
Oversee and manage production coordinators and assistants
Coordinate and participate in site visits with clients and vendors.
Manage install and strike of all events.
Attend all staff meetings and trainings as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications:
More than 5 years of experience in event production or production management, including technical production, A/V, etc.
Experience in fabrication and working with union labor.
Global event experience preferred.
Ability to effectively supervise and manage people and resources.
Must be able to create and manipulate detailed spreadsheets tracking budgets, schedules, and other project related items.
Strong project management skills including budgeting, scheduling, and client relations.
Willingness to travel, work evenings, weekends and holidays.
Must be comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team.
Must be solutions oriented and maintain a strong commitment to get the job done.
Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written – and customer service skills.
Ability to interact and build rapport with clients, vendors, and staff.
Ability to analyze and evaluate operations.
Must be flexible and self-motivated.
Excellent computer skills with a proficiency in Mac, G Suite, and Company website Nast operates in GSuite, so this is a must.
