This person is responsible for editorial oversight of all non-live content airing on MSNBC. This role includes script review and editorial updating as needed on both new and archival hours, script writing for updates and creation of promotional material for online, social and on-air marketing.
Copyedit scripts and oversee video edits
Consistently screen content to ensure relevance
Ensure all content is up to date
Edit relevance of content when needed
Keep up with stories and special projects
Ensure all projects live up to editorial standards
8+ years of production and journalism experience
Strong editorial judgement
Must have Bachelor’s degree
Additional Job Requirements:

special events and breaking news situations
