We are currently looking for an experienced Process Scientist to join the R&D Product Management team in the Professional Products Division (PPD). In this role, you will use your process development expertise and internal/external networks to drive growth, develop, and commercialize winning products within the PPD space (e.g. Healthcare, Jan/San, Food Service, Education etc.).
You will be part of a high performing team who is at the frontline of interactions with marketing, insights, and sales to drive business results. The Professional Products business is scrappy, flexible and nimble to enable high growth and is a highly visible business. We are seeking an individual who can be a strong process leader & mentor to junior scientists, who can execute and deliver robust process plans for launch, who is excited to explore new arenas and who is willing to dive into processing and manufacturing methods for fresh insights as well as develop strong relationships with R&D peers, the Product Supply Organization and co-packers. Lead the creation and execution of robust development plans for scaling up new and improved products and processes from customer/business insights and bench scale, to pilot scale, and ultimately full-scale production. Be able to share your technical expertise with junior team members.
As a senior process leader, identify approaches to improve process capabilities, develop best practices, mentor junior scientists and improve Process PPD onboarding.
Build strong working relationships with all peers, stakeholders and cross functional partners (Marketing, Product, GS, Packaging, and Project Management) both internally and externally to facilitate alignment and efficient execution.
Utilize creative problem solving skills and bias for action to deliver innovative process solutions and specifications.
Collaborate with peers in teams that value open learning, technical curiosity, and supports development, sharing, and testing of new ideas.
Years and Type of Experience:
B.S./M.S./Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering.
5-8 years process development and scale up industrial experiences
Skills and Abilities

B.S./M.S./Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering.
Experience driving technical and consumer innovation projects, utilizing process knowledge to push boundaries and enable teams to deliver innovation against real-world customer problems, mentoring of junior scientists, Risk Taking, Influencing, Idea Integration, &/or Results Seeking
