What is the opportunity?
Join Company Wealth Management, a Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal “Top Place to Work”, and shape Company’s future! As a Senior Policy Specialist you will support Company Wealth Management in its end-to-end management of policies and procedures. You will help transform how policies and procedures are written and maintained and create an impact and drive influence with partners across the organization.
What will you do?
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Wealth Management U.S. policies and procedures, including drafting content, obtaining approvals, coordinating communication and training, publishing content and ensuring ongoing review in accordance with Enterprise and regulatory requirements.
Manage the exception request process which will include obtaining a business case and approvals, ensuring necessary terms and conditions are established and documented, tracking requested and approved exceptions and facilitating periodic reviews of approved exceptions.
Advise policy and procedure content owners and other stakeholders on policy management and exception requirements and processes.
Conduct analysis and develop management reporting on requested and approved material policy/procedure exceptions.
Organize and maintain policies and procedures utilizing Enterprise policy management software and any WM-U.S. user-interface software.
Establish and maintain templates for collecting policy and procedure content from owners, maintain templates and style guides for formatting policies and procedures.
What do you need to succeed?
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
3 + years of experience in policy management, risk management, or compliance
Experience within wealth management or comparable business
Demonstrated ability to build consensus, create influence, and drive coordination, communication, negotiation, and projects across businesses and platforms to achieve expected results
Excellent organizational skills and exceptional oral, written, and presentation communication skills
Master’s, JD, or other advanced degree
5+ years of experience in large and complex financial services organizations
Education or professional experience related to technical, legal, or other writing
Series 7 and 66 exams
