Job Description & Qualifications
Pega architect/system administration role in part of Ford IT PegaCOE team and is responsible for architecting, building and maintaining Pega platforms for various business application teams including Installation, Configuration, Deployment of pega platform and operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient operation of productions environments for business applications using Decisioning, Warranty and Robotics platforms.
Position Duties include:
Design and implementation of infrastructure from specifications,
Configuration and deployment of applications,
Connecting to back-end resources and
Advanced troubleshooting of complex PEGA applications.
Responsible to install & upgrade Pega software products across environments
Adhere to security & controls (ACR, SOX SCRP) & change control processes
Certified PCSSA/PCSA – senior/system architect certification in Pega 7.0 or prior
5+ years of progressive experience in Pega System architecture
5+ years of hands on experience as pega system architect/admin
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
Strong experience in designing for performance and performance tuning
Strong Knowledge of application development frameworks and change control
Experience with application platform build and configuration
Experience in performance monitoring tools such as PAL, PDC/AES and Windows Performance Monitor
Experience in –Windows, Linux, MS SQL, Cloud Choices
Able to resolve incidents & provide business support
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills - working in a global teams & complex environment
Ability to multi-task effectively on a variety of work assignments
Ability to perform application support tasks like: systems support, security reviews, & maintenance tasks
Experience in Supporting the Cloud architecture based Application
Setting up Pega platform tools to develop or improve application in a shared development environment by using DevOps tools like PegaUnit, prpcServiceUtils & Jenkins etc.,
Working knowledge of Pega Express
Cisco Request Center / BMC Service Desk experience
MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) & SharePoint
