The role and responsibilities for this individual include in-house design and copywriting needs for the Consumer Marketing team using a variety of creative and communication skills across both traditional and online channels.
The Main Responsibilities
Designing and copyrighting of ad hoc creative requests for Consumer Marketing materials (Examples include but not limited to direct mail, letters, flyers, doorhangers, yard signs, posters, digital ads, email, print ads)
Assessing and determining the needs to portray the desired message and design
Creating support materials from master creative campaign concepts and maintaining consistency
Versioning, resizing, fixing, revising artwork and photo retouching as needed.
Producing website graphics, digital ads, emails and other digital content
Maintaining quality check process
Managing and maintaining graphic files
Offering new ideas and concepts clearly and effectively
Collaborating with team members and making recommendations on design, color, layout, messaging
What We Look For in a Candidate
Bachelor’s degree in design-related field and a minimum of 5-7 years experience, or an equivalent combination in education and experience
Expert knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite
Proficient in traditional graphic design practices (HTML digital experience a plus)
Proven ability to work in a diverse environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
Experience owning and managing several programs
Able to apply style guides creatively while upholding brand identity
Excellent communication skills – ability to understand objectives and deliver messaging/creative that meets the requirements
Essential skills include: problem solving, organized and detail-oriented, Marketing experience, writing and editing
Creative Telecom experience
Interactive design and timeline animation
