Senior Marketing Director - Strategy & Analytics, Marketing PMO
Company’s Marketing Team is looking for a Senior Marketing Director of Strategy and Analytics who will report to the VP of Marketing PMO. They will be focused on marketing performance management, the marketing technology stack, and global scalable processes.
This role will be a core member of this team, providing significant insights through dashboards and analytics. Your marketing data strategy, data governance, and reporting will align with our overall business goals and support business decisions. You will also drive strategic decisions around our marketing technology stack, and work closely with Marketing and Sales Operations to ensure sales system interoperability.
A successful leader in this role is a collaborative, strategic problem solver, who achieves results through influence at the executive and team level, innovative problem solving, and effective change management. You are passionate about empowering people and enabling teams to do their best work, and understand how to apply the right amount of process and governance based on the corporate objectives, business context, and capability maturity level.
What You’ll Do
As an important team member, this person will have a broad impact on the organization that allows Marketing to develop insights on our effectiveness and make recommendations that drive revenue. With your entrepreneurial, self-starter attitude, you will:
Define a holistic marketing data and analytics strategy that supports the Marketing organization’s performance management needs, and the vital data unification and access across internal systems
Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications and partner with technology teams to acquire, deploy and maintain key marketing systems used to generate, distribute, and report on pipeline growth
Partner with CMO and Marketing leadership during the annual planning process to align strategic department goals, that define marketing metrics that measure progress all levels
Create global dashboards, including the CMO dashboard, and monthly/quarterly performance reviews that analyze marketing activities and business impact
Work with demand generation teams to advise integrated marketing strategies and tactics with analytics on program performance and standard methodologies
Partner with Marketing and Sales Ops to drive lead conversion efficiency through improved lead management process and analytics (including lead scoring, routing and efficient handovers to Sales)
Partner with the Marketing Operations team responsible for executing the marketing performance management roadmap, building global dashboards and ensuring data hygiene and governance (i.e., list uploads, cleanses, campaign creation, email sends)
10+ years of marketing, analytics or operations experience
Degree in business, marketing, (BS/BA) or equivalent experience
Experience with lead management, database management, and segmentation, compliance, governance, and quality
Experience in reporting on marketing performance and providing visibility to marketers, business owners and executives
Hands-on experience in marketing automation systems (Marketo), CRM (Salesforce) and integrating those systems with other technologies
Excellent written and oral communication skills that include context, analysis, and recommendations to drive action and accountability from local and remote teams
Experience in marketing enterprise technology - SaaS (Software as a Service) - with a B2B focus
Experience in a high-growth digital marketing environment
