Lead the coordination, execution, and refinement of the company’s assessment and measurement program to identify the knowledge, skills, abilities, and other attributes of hourly and executive jobs and job families. Design, validate, and refine hiring, onboarding, exit, development, and promotional assessment and measurement tools. Provide expert guidance to ensure compliance with all employment laws, regulations, and scientific and ethical guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned.
Partner with internal stakeholders to conduct needs assessment and determine appropriate cadence for assessment and measurement needs
Drive job analysis processes and steps for various business functions/jobs/job families
Design and project manage the rollout of assessment tools, including but not limited to: custom assessment tests, interview guides, case study analyses, business simulations, realistic job previews, etc.
Lead validation research for all assessments, including statistical analysis and legal compliance components
Prepare statistical and technical reports
Train end users on new assessment tools; Build and deliver train-the-trainer materials as needed
Build competency/behavioral models
Design and conduct requests for proposals for vendor tools; lead vendor management
Create custom surveys and analyze results
Lead partnerships of integrating assessment tools into other technology platforms
Refine tools and processes over time
Stay up-to-date on trends and advancements in assessment and measurement research, occupational and labor market data
Minimum of a MA/MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field. Ph.D. strongly preferred. 3 to 5 years of applied experience in assessments, job analysis, statistical analysis, talent management projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read, write, and interpret scientific documents such as statistical reports.
Must have above average mathematical skills, including statistical knowledge and application of descriptive statistics, correlation and regression analysis, and others.
Must be able to both interpret and communicate statistical results to various roles within the organization.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
This position involves extended periods of sitting and the extensive use of computer and the office equipment.
May involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Proficiency in statistical software, including Microsoft Excel and SPSS, as well as survey design and administration.
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store/company needs.
