Senior Manager, International Research
Company Television seeks a Senior Manager of International Research for our Culver City offices. Reporting to the SVP of International Research, this position will manage audience measurement and consumer insights efforts including trend analysis, franchise performance and custom research for strategic initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Proactively provide home office business teams with actionable data and consumer insights to maximize the value of Company content sales to Linear TV and streaming services around the world
• Analyze and consolidate reporting of ratings performance for SPT and competitive TV series / movie franchises across major international markets
• Integrate varied data sources such as market forecasts, digital datasets, linear TV ratings, SVOD performance data and popularity scores to inform a consumer-centric understanding of the TV landscape
• Partner with Sales Planning and Marketing teams to create ad hoc analysis and sales support materials for major international markets (i.e. MIPCOM, LA Screenings)
• Collaborate with teammates in US, LATAM, EMEA and APAC research teams to share insights and approaches across business lines and geographies
REQUIREMENTS
• At least 4 years of experience in the television marketplace including expert knowledge of TV Ratings and a strong understanding of media math, research methodology and marketing strategies related to content distribution
• Strong MS Excel, data visualization and verbal presentation skills required. Tableau experience is a plus.
• Understanding of TV marketplace and content preferences in multiple countries
• Experience utilizing multiple primary and secondary data sources to provide analysis and insights for business decisions
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and achieve results across multiple audiences within a complex organizational structure
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
