This high impact individual contributor role is responsible for generating new revenue streams as measured by total revenue and average revenue per customer. This position will partner closely with Consumer Business Unit Leaders and will need to interface with VP and director-level leaders in the technology and operations organizations. This role will also need to collaborate closely with other members of the product organization to achieve results. This individual will identify and drive financial improvements to revenue through improved sales penetration, capital efficiencies through technology advances and operational efficiencies through process improvements and automation. This role will also be responsible for owning the end to end customer journey and will identify & lead efforts to address areas of greatest opportunity to improve the customer experience. This position requires strong political and financial acumen, excellent abilities to collaborate and influence cross-functionally, a high bias for action and sense of urgency and a passion for delivering a differentiated customer experience.
The Main Responsibilities
o Defines market, including competitive analysis and definition of product functionality
◦ Defines target customer experience. Uses voice of the customer feedback for continuous improvement.
◦ Develops metrics to gather data of market conditions and customer requirements
◦ Supports business case development to evaluate product concepts and secure funding approval
◦ Assesses and adjusts product portfolio mix to maximize revenue, improve margins and align with corporate strategic direction.
◦ Understands and executes within the broader organizational framework. Spearheads cross-functional teams to achieve results. Effectively influences and delegates to achieve objectives
◦ Identifies and develops key partner and vendor relationships.
◦ Communicates effectively with stakeholders and executives
Own product portfolio financial health
Success is evaluated based on realizing customer experience and financial objectives
What We Look For in a Candidate
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
10+ years related experience
8+ years w/Master's degree or equivalent and relevant work experience preferred.
Obsessed with creating an outstanding customer experience
Successfully directs cross functional teams to achieve targeted outcomes
Demonstrates experience with agile development and lean practices
Excellent written and verbal communications skills with strong copywriting and design skills
Takes the initiative to develop new strategies and outside-the-box ideas
Works independently and within a team
Exhibits a growth mindset, an ability to take risks, question norms, unlearn old habits & to not take one’s self too seriously
