Do you want to be at the center of Company's largest and most-disruptive business? Company's WW Consumer Insights, Planning and Analysis (IPA) team would be the place for you! This role plays a key role in how we plan, analyze and deliver for our customers.
This is a great opportunity to work closely with senior leaders in Company's largest business. Global Consumer IPA is faced with the challenge of building the new systems, processes and analytics to best support strategic decision making as the company continues to grow in complexity and size. Improving the methods we use to forecast and analyze our operating expenses and changing the way we architect our analysis to track key investments being made across the business. This role will involve partnering with teams across the organization to drive progress towards truly automated planning, reporting and analytics. This is a highly visible role that will involve significant interaction with Consumer Finance leadership.
The successful candidate will have shown experience in past roles influencing senior leaders and supporting decision making in rapidly evolving environments. The candidate must have the aptitude to incorporate new approaches and methodologies, including statistical concepts, while dealing with big data. Excellent business and communication skills are a must to develop and define key business questions and to build data sets that answer those questions. You should be able to work with customers to understand the requirements and implement financial solutions.
This role requires a self-starter with excellent business modeling skills, a keen attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and good track record of influencing decisions. This role also has regular interaction with various business units across Company and requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Duties may include:
Collecting, analyzing, and reviewing quantitative data and making recommendations for a path forward as a result
Developing and refining financial models in creating solutions that scale for the organization
Coordinating and collaborating with many teams to optimize efforts across the Consumer organization
Executing ad-hoc analysis and providing thoughtful business insights
BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) or equivalent and a minimum 5 years of finance experience, OR master’s degree and 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Advanced Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of SQL and Cognos/TM1
Financial acumen including familiarity with forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and related skills
Ability to work independently, manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and exceed expectations in a fast-paced, dynamic, ambiguous environment
An eye towards continuous process improvement, including the ability to innovate and simplify both finance and operational processes
Effective and proactive communicator
