The Director of Strategic Program Management will report directly to Vice President of Strategy, Planning and Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the HCIBU's Strategic Program Management Office. You will manage business unit level programs ranging from Company’s top and most strategic customers to cross-company partnerships to launch new joint solutions. This is an extremely high visible and impactful role. You will be working with the business unit leadership as well as key partners in other business units at Company and other companies. The job requires business, operations, and technical knowledge and experience to rapidly make a direct contribution in helping us achieve our goals.
Job Roles and Responsibility
As the Director of Strategic Program Management, you will lead a team of senior program managers and be responsible for each program’s success. You need to be a very resourceful and driven leader who actively rolls up you sleeves and dive into the complexity and challenges of each program. At the same time, you will surface the key insights and solutions to the executives. The scope includes:
Structure, define, execute, manage, and ensure the success of the Strategic Accounts Program
Define and be accountable for the “Customer Health” score of the top strategic customers
Manage customer, sales, e-staff, Dell escalations
Structure, define, execute, manage, and ensure the success of the Strategic Partnership Programs
Work cross-functional and cross-company to align schedules and resources to meet deadlines, identifying risks and removing roadblocks.
Lead the creation of processes, metrics, dashboard, and tools to support program success and ensure a fast-growing and scaling business
Drive internal and external executive communication of these strategic programs
10+ years of experience in program management and/or operations
5+ years of experience leading a team
Ability to structure and frame ambiguous and complex problems in a very simple way and offer well-thought through solutions and alternatives
Firm sense of accountability, urgency and ownership for the program end-to-end
Ability to manage and defuse confrontations and escalations from customers, account teams, and cross-company executives
Ability to understand quickly technical subjects and their relevance and priority to the program
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic environment
Great attention to detail, analytical and data-oriented personality
Ability to influence without authority and partner with other functions
Strong organizational skills
Clear, concise, articulate interpersonal and communication skills
MBA is a plus
