Sr. Director of Pricing Strategy and Deals
The Director of Pricing Strategy and Deals will lead Company’s pricing strategy and execution for our Revenue Excellence and Technology Enabled Service businesses. This Director will lead pricing for the Revenue Excellence transformation and lead projects to improve revenue, margin, and portfolio objectives. By incorporating insights from Company’s financial performance, competitive position, and market dynamics, this leader will set standard prices and approve and advise on deals to drive growth across our Revenue Excellence and Technology Enabled Service businesses. Company is one of the largest, independent healthcare technology companies in the United States.
In this role, the individual will:
Provide overall thought leadership in identifying market opportunities, performing business and competitive analyses, and develop pricing strategies and tactics to pursue identified opportunities
Drive cross-functional projects of sales, finance, marketing, and business unit SVPs to understand market dynamics, business performance, and devise effective pricing strategies and tactics
Analyze & create deal models to set appropriate pricing on deals and advise sales on financial terms and conditions and negotiation strategies
Communicate across multiple business units and functional stakeholders to analyze and approve strategic deal prices
Develop and execute innovative solutions to negate price compression and grow customer relationships
5+years of pricing, finance, marketing analytics, consulting, or similar experience
Experience working in Revenue cycle management industry
Knowledge & Critical Skills
Experience working in the Revenue Cycle Management industry
Excellent oral and written communication skills to influence internal customers and senior leadership
Ability to create financial models for ad hoc reporting and work with large volumes of data
Advanced Excel skills and analytical modeling techniques required
Experience collaborating with internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet pricing goals within established timelines
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Continuously explore advanced analytics in pricing
Strategic thinking and ability to identify growth opportunities and drive to resolution
A fundamental understanding of pricing concepts and frameworks
MBA preferred in finance, marketing, or economics, or equivalent experience
