Our DTC team is laying the foundation for HBO Max, and we need highly motivated, uniquely skilled, and technically agile experts across a variety of disciplines to accomplish things that have never been done before.
The Senior Designer, Social Media is a critical member of the social team. In this role the he/she, will create compelling designs for use on a variety of social media channels including Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, etc. This role is highly collaborative, and the Sr. Designer will work across the Marketing team and with other stakeholders to ensure that graphics and designs engage and delight fans.
Lead creative digital development for social media campaigns. In partnership with the social agency, produce high quality, engaging designs that are delivered on time and on budget.
Partner with the social team and others to understand campaign needs and objectives. Provide creative input and make recommendations to achieve campaign success.
Develop and maintain design library. Adhere to and contribute to the creation of a style guide.
Stay up to date on visual design trends and tools and share knowledge with the team.
Bachelor's degree in graphic design or commensurate experience.
4 years' experience as a Graphic Designer.
In-depth knowledge of appropriate usage of the latest versions of Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Adobe XD).
Knowledge of social media platforms.
Expert familiarity with visual design process and visual design principles.
Expert level understanding of typography, layout, visual storytelling, and color theory.
Demonstrated creative problem-solving and meeting deadlines on deadline.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Able to work with all levels of employees across the organization.
Ability to manage and deliver multiple creative requests at once with stakeholders.
