Job Description
TITLE: Senior Data Science Analyst
DUTIES: Company Products Inc. seeks Senior Data Science Analyst in Riverwoods, IL to develop advanced analytics solutions including customer segmentation, optimization, test and design of experiments and prescriptive analytics to solve business problems. Operates as a subject matter expert on statistical analysis, test and design of experiment, analysis methodology, modeling, application and financial impact analysis. Collaborates with cross-functional partners to understand their business needs, formulated and completed end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering, analysis, ongoing scaled deliverables and presentations. Delivers effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of leadership, creating visual displays of quantitative information. Establishes and maintains effective performance tracking. Identifies improvement opportunities from hypothesis. Proposes, designs and implements tests to drive strategy enhancement and optimization. Manages multiple priorities, communicates business performance and project progress to management and business partners. Develops and automates reports, iteratively builds and prototypes dashboards to provide insights at scale, solving for analytical needs. Facilitates implementation of work product and ensures accuracy. Consistently follows standard work processes and documentation requirements. Recommends improvement to work processes to increase efficiency while maintaining quality of work. Continuously improves technical and leadership skills through training and development. Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Management Information Systems or a related quantitative field and two (2) years of experience in job offered or related position: developing and maintaining credit strategies, processes and procedures; developing advanced analytics solutions by utilizing statistical software and data mining tools such as SQL, SAS, VBA and Tableau to support business needs; creating reports and dashboards to present business performance to management level or business partners; explore and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and for continued monitoring of existing processes.
