About Us
Company is a leader in providing entertainment programming to the US and international marketplaces. The International Television Distribution division is responsible for the international distribution of Company product to all forms of linear and digital media. This includes distribution of current and library theatrical movies, direct-to-video movies, documentaries and specials, plus all forms of television product – scripted TV series, non-scripted TV series, mini-series, animation and TV movies.
Responsibilities
Manage the flow of incoming royalty statements and payments from licensees and 3rd party distributors.
Engage in the review and interpretation of royalty agreements as needed.
Work with licensees and/or distributors to ensure that royalty statements are being reported in accordance to contractual terms.
Collaborate with licensees to ensure the timeliness of payments and submissions of statements.
Support audits by providing statements and/or agreements to ensure proper accounting treatment.
Work with Manager to implement a more effective and efficient royalty process.
Prepare journal entries as needed in SAP.
Prepare General Ledger account reconciliations in accordance with company policy and enter into Blackline Account Reconciliation System.
Work with IT department as needed to troubleshoot and enhance royalty processing system.
Assist the Manager with special projects.
Ad hoc analysis as required.
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business or equivalent.
2+ years’ experience in Accounting, Auditing or Finance; Entertainment industry experience preferred.

Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
Desired Characteristics
CPA or CPA candidate a plus.
Computer Experience including Intermediate to Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, V Look-up, data management), Computerized Accounting Systems and GL Systems.
Familiarity with Word, Outlook, Powerpoint a plus.
Ability to work with high volumes of data with accuracy, meet deadlines and deliverables.
Able to work overtime when needed.
