Addition of salt, vinegar and other ingredients to tanks
Making and testing brine; testing to include pH, salt and calcium chloride
Responsible for reporting any food safety or quality issues to supervisor as well as the following specific duties involving food safety and quality.
Record all information in an orderly fashion and report all deviations from standard to the Brine Yard Manager and/or Quality Assurance
Follow Quality Assurance procedures as described by Quality Assurance Supervisor and/or Quality Assurance Manager as well as the Brine Yard Manger.
Carry out any corrections prescribed by Quality Assurance Supervisor and/or Quality Assurance Manager as well as the Brine Yard Manager.
Ability to operate a forklift
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and SQF (Safe Quality Food)
Other duties as assigned
