Responsible for sales of highly sophisticated and specialized auto, home, life, and other insurance and annuity products, including consultative sales, identification and promotion of sales opportunities, and methodological development of new business growth and development
Counsels stakeholders and prospective policyholders on all matters of insurance coverage, and tailors specific coverage to their situational needs
Develops and maintains business relationships and makes presentations to corporate stakeholders in an effort to build affinity relationships
Develops and maintains business relationships with mortgage brokers, realtors, and other sources in an effort to build referral sources to actively prospect business
Meets and exceeds expected sales guidelines to drive forward the sales business of the organization.
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, or a related field plus two(2) years of experience in the job offered or a related field. The position also requires professional experience with each of the following:
Insurance sales, specifically personal insurance of auto, home and life
Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills
Analyzing complex coverage details and underwriting guidelines
Salesforce or equivalent CRM database with ability to run formulas and reports as well as utilize and leverage Sales Tracker within Salesforce
Demonstrated organizational skills leveraging Access and Excel to maintain client prospecting and sales list as well as tracking and forecasting production and income relative to set goals
Experience and demonstration of presentation skills using PowerPoint and ability to learn new applications quickly to make sales pitches to prospects, specifically PowerPoint for educational seminars and B2B sales pitches
Strong time management skills leveraging scheduling tools within Outlook as well as Salesforce tasks and calendar
Ability to multi-task across multiple applications while maintaining an engaging conversation in order to execute a sale.
The position also requires current state insurance license in property, casualty and life.
