ABOUT THE JOBThe Retail Management Store Commercial job function develops sales in an efficient and effective way in all media in order to attract more customers. The function optimizes our sales priorities and commercial and forecast activities. Our main responsibilities include developing and executing sales steering, selling the Company way, range grouping, pricing, range management and launches. This ensures an enjoyable, convenient and successful shopping and buying experience, which leads to increased sales and sustained long-term profitability. Leads and inspires Sales Support and Steering team to optimize sales and profitability in the store by using the knowledge of the range, local market, competition, and the customers.
YOUR ASSIGNMENTYour tasks will include:
Leads the Sales Steering, Merchandizing Basics and Product Quality Leaders in the store.
Ensures that all shops are in shape as new with fully stocked sales spaces at all times throughout the day.
Presents products to reflect the width and depth of the Company range in order to satisfy and inspire the different home furnishing tastes of our visitors.
Ensures the Company merchandising basics and mechanical sales system are in place and functioning efficiently to help customers make buying decisions.
Makes decisions regarding commercial range for the store to drive the business.
Ensures the team knows the top selling products, 3 Aces and 1 King, and that they are available and clearly communicated and displayed at all times.
Promotes alternative products when others are unavailable and utilizes all channels to increase sales.
Leads Sales Location Management (SLM) to ensure the optimal ASSQ is in place to meet the customer, and has the products available at all times for the customer shopping experience to thrive.
Oversees range management & sales steering in all areas of the store and across channels (SFM, SR, MH, SSFA).
Plans and implements add-ons throughout entire store and works with the ComCal and the Com&In team.
Establishes goals, analyzes the business, and follows up to ensure continuous improvement. (e.g. Gross Profit, Family sales, PA etc.).
Contributes to the creation of the work brief of certain areas (activity podium, specialty shop, compact, etc.).
YOUR PROFILEYour knowledge, skills and experience include:
Experience of working in a customer-oriented (service or retail) industry.
Experience of leading and managing a team preferably in customer centric service or retail environment.
Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
