About the Role
As a Revenue Analyst on the Company Plus Operations team, you will be developing and executing price optimization strategies for Plus hosts looking to achieve their financial goals on Company. You’ll be the go-to expert for all things pricing and performance optimization for Company Plus hosts. The role is analytical in nature, focused on analyzing market and listing performance data, driving actionable insights from hosts, and optimizing occupancy and daily rates at a micro and macro level. You will partner with Host Success Advocates, who will consult directly with hosts. You will also work closely with Product Managers, Engineers and Data Scientists to influence product roadmaps and drive product excellence. You will need to apply your experience and judgement in achieving desired outcomes. The successful candidate must be a strong communicator, a strategic long term thinker, have the ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously, and thrive in a dynamic, quickly changing environment.
Analyze occupancy, nightly rate and market-specific trends from a variety of sources, in order to develop and execute pricing strategies, and make programmatic improvements to help Company Plus hosts achieve their goals.
Partner with Product, Engineering & Data Science teams to influence product roadmap, drive product excellence and improve operational efficiency.
Define and maintain dynamic price adjustment rules to support hosts at scale, and incorporate host priorities into pricing analysis.
Publish market and property-specific performance, and highlight wins and opportunities at a macro and micro level related to host earnings.
Identify opportunities for scalable solutions that automate repetitive processes or workflows.
Support the development and expansion of host programs – work with large market pricing data sets, provide insights on trends, and automate reporting to share results with cross functional team and executives.
Proactively identify and implement data improvements, enhancements, and system customizations that meet business requirements.
Bachelor’s Degree in an analytical or hospitality field of study and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
4+ years of experience.
Excel and modeling experience.
SQL or similar experience.
R or other statistical software experience.
Highly agile mindset; ability to stay organized and excel in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Proven ability to manage and guide initiatives, leading to greater process efficiency, transparency and organizational leverage.
Deep understanding of metrics, as well as information architecture, data types, data structures and associated use of metadata.
Excellent analytical abilities; able to dig into complex processes and data to help inform decisions.
You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves, or to speak with hosts and guests when necessary.
