Company’s Human Resources, Office of Benefits Administration is seeking a hard-working and results-oriented RetirementProgram Assistant to assist with the processing of retirement loans, hardships, pension payments, and maximum allowable enrollments/monitoring. Will also ensure compliance to IRS, ERISA, and university rules and regulations. This role is also responsible for handling a variety of administrative functions pertaining to the successful execution of our retirement programs. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who desires to effect change and is highly customer-service oriented.
Additional duties include:
Process all retirement related requests for loans, hardships, pension payments.
Review employee forms and/or requests and ensures that all required documentation is complete, accurate, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Review, approve, and/or cancel electronic retirement enrollment transactions. Follows up with employees for appropriate documentation and forwards to vendor as necessary.
Audit retirement plans to ensure employees are maximizing contributions.
Create, review, maintain, and update various reports for use in daily Benefit Administration operations; run reports to capture potential errors.
Oversees process and record-keeping functions.
Provide clerical and/or secretarial support as needed.
2 or more years of directly related professional and/or experience in benefits and/or retirement administration.
Computer proficiency in Excel; technical aptitude; experience with HRIS (preferably Workday) and benefits databases.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.
Strong analytical skills and focus on the details.
Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Strong work ethic and a service-minded attitude.

Minimum Education: Related undergraduate study, Combined work experience and education as equivalent Minimum Experience: 1 year Minimum Field of Expertise: Benefits or human resources support services background.
