The Retention Specialist provides each resident, applicant, and vendor with premier customer service. This position functions to assure residents have timely responses and necessary vital information is provided to the team needing to act. The Retention Specialist plays a vital role in aiding the company to establish resident communication, satisfaction, and loyalty. This position will be a member of the Portfolio Management Team, responsible for working with the Assistant and Portfolio Managers to achieve region goals.
Provide exceptional experience to any person from first impression with vendors, teammates, residents, and applicants.
Liaison between residents and the Portfolio Management Team
Aid portfolio in all incoming and outbound calls and emails maintaining premier customer service
Accurately scan and upload notices, statements, etc. assuring they are provided to the correct acting department
Aiding in the de-escalation of portfolio matters by involving the appropriate teams needed
Periodically touching base with residents throughout residency with Hudson
Perform other duties as assigned by the Portfolio Manager
Work with management on reviewing new products.
Work with minimal supervision for assigned portfolio.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of property management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and manage time, often under pressure
Strong analytic skills
Hard working, detail-oriented and committed to producing great end results
High level customer service mindset and approach
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience (1-2 Years) Customer Service
Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook Proficiency
This job operates in a professional office environment
This role generally requires 40+ hours per week
This role does not require travel
