This position will oversee the retail operations for the cafeteria, and coffee bars, including grab-n-go options. We are looking for a go-getter that will inspire our retail team members to provide solutions to an every-changing environment, conduct applicable retail and HACCP training on an on-going basis and contribute ideas and knowledge to our system retail team. This position will also gather retail survey and focus group information and conduct action steps as appropriate.
The successful candidate will:
motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly-paid), staff;
provide stellar customer service;
oversee cash handing processes, and POS programming and maintenance;
ensure company food and physical safety programs and standards are followed;
conduct retail brand standard audits (in-house and national brands);
maintain integrity of retail branded concept standards (national and in-house brands);
manage the opening and closing the operation as well daily retail food service operations;
ensure all needed signage (including digital) is in place;
manage vendor relationships and compliance; and/or
maintain all product merchandising, marketing and ordering standards are in place.

experience in analyzing POS data to identify potential revenue/product opportunities, retail & customer service concepts, retail innovations, technology and retail trends.

exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and/or
demonstrate working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems as well as menu graphics programs.
Provides leadership and supervision for the on-site food service exempt and non-exempt level staff in the delivery of our contractual agreement with the client. Provides supervision for food services at account/unit to ensure client satisfaction and retention for the company. Implements business practices in order to uphold company mission, values and commitments made in the Company client contractual agreement.
Establishes a safe work environment
Utilizes Company tools and programs to develop client, customer, and staff relationships, to ensure account retention
Implements and fully utilizes all Company tools and programs to ensure financial outcomes
Directs daily operations of food service to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources, ensures operating standards and regulatory requirements are met
Develops and implements plans, projects, with defined objectives, methods, timetables and budget to support client and Company strategic plan
Ensures adherence to all HR standards for Company, client, and regulatory agencies
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
