The Residential Structured Financing Team within the Securitized Products Group (“SPG”) is responsible for providing term securitization exits to clients against various mortgage assets – agency/non-agency, performing/re-performing/non-performing, first/junior lien mortgage loans and servicing advance / mortgage servicing rights.
Analyst role – support the daily functions of the deal team in the underwriting of new and existing transactions.
Analyze collateral attributes for securitization deals
Prepare underwriting memoranda highlighting salient risks and mitigants of the transaction
Prepare and analyze term sheets, offering circulars and other operative documents
Coordinate and communicate with internal counterparties including Due Diligence, Legal, Syndicate, Trading, Sales and Research
Coordinate and communicate with external counterparties including Counsel, Accountants, Rating Agencies, etc
Create & update various pitch presentations and marketing materials
Perform periodic reviews of transactions across the RMBS universe
Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated academic excellence
1 – 3 years relevant professional residential mortgage experience
Knowledge of securitization and capital markets preferred
Fluent in Excel and PowerPoint
Experience creating and running financial models and manipulating data
Excellent communication skills
Creative problem solving skills
Proven time management, prioritization and multi-tasking skills to handle multiple transactions and daily tasks
Knowledge of fixed income capital markets, residential mortgage loans, mortgage credit and mortgage servicing a plus, but not required
