The Report Processing Specialist supports the office audit team by drafting highly detailed financial reports, serving as a gatekeeper during the report approval process and managing workflow. Reports for client consulting projects may also be assigned. This is a highly detailed position that requires strong adherence to quality control standards.
Review client financial statements and other deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance with Company reporting standards – involves proofreading, math checking and comparison to A&A guidance
Consistently apply Company Stylebook and Brand Standards Guide to all reports and client deliverables
Implement and follow Company’s quality control policies, including managing release of audit reports only as authorized by firm policy
Manage audit report typing workflow and monitor typing email inbox
May serve as quality control gatekeeper for obtaining required approvals from independent reviewer and others for release of reports for distribution to clients
Monitor status of reports in process and manage workload to ensure meeting client deadlines
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
General administrative office duties (mail, file, copy, meeting set up, etc.)
Occasional errands (post office, etc.)
Correspondence and other administrative assistance for partners and managers
Minimum High School Diploma, College Degree preferred
Minimum 2-5 years professional office experience preferred
Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power-Point (others helpful)
Ability to meet deadlines efficiently and work in a fast-paced environment
Great organizational skills
Must be thorough and very detail oriented
Must be able to handle constructive feedback; often work is proofed by another member of the team for accuracy
Type 50+ wpm
Work hours; occasional unplanned overtime will occur
