The Regulatory Reporting Controller will have responsibility for external regulatory reporting due to the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) for Company Corporate & Investment Bank Ireland regulated entities including Company Bank Ireland plc (JPMBI), Company Hedge Fund Services (Ireland) Ltd, Company Administration Services (Ireland) Ltd and Company Dublin plc (JPMD).
The successful candidate will join a fast-paced, challenging and rewarding environment providing a great opportunity for experience in an increasingly important area of Financial Services, gaining exposure to reporting requirements for Banks and Investment Firms and involvement in wider strategic initiatives
Oversight of monthly Statistical (RS2, CRS2 etc.) and quarterly Prudential (COREP, FINREP etc.) regulatory returns, ensuring on-time and correct submissions to the CBI through performance of key controls.
Involvement in strategic deliverables such as ICAAP, Recovery Planning and ad-hoc projects as required.
Keep up to date with Regulatory developments including CRD5.
Ensure procedures and control processes remain current and continuously assess and enhance to improve efficiencies.
Investigating and responding to CBI queries
Qualified accountant with at least 2-3 years PQE in a regulatory reporting team for a Bank or Investment Firm.
Knowledge of the Irish regulatory framework
Experience of the financial services industry preferably from a Bank environment.
Ability to develop effective and constructive relationships with peers and seniors.
Ability to actively contribute to risk, commercial, regulatory and client agendas.
Flexibility and experience of managing multiple competing priorities.
Ability to function in a collegiate, constructive, and effective manner at all times.
Ability to work under time pressure, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality.
Demonstrate a risk management and compliance frame of mind – ability to identify address key risks.
