About This Role:
Servesas the Documentation and Records Controller for the Microbiology Lab and provides administrative as well as quality support. Manages quality system-related projects. Responsible for quality system-related activities necessary for on-going maintenance of lab, including document maintenance and control, records maintenance and retention, review of records, approval of supplies, and other duties as assigned
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Revises and reviews microbiology department documentation and serves as primary Windchill change initiator.
CR Process-Process Change Requests through Submission Review Phase-Implements Change Request -Document Issuance ' Manages the distribution of documents as needed.
Change request Processing-Prioritize requests for urgent CRs-Communicate issues with CR originator and approvers-Ensures CRs are processed in a timely manner-Ensure CR's comply with BSC Doc Control Policies and Procedures
Interpret and implements Global documentation requirements as they relate to Local documentation requirements.
Files and maintains all microbiology department records and serves as records retention administrator.
Performs general quality system maintenance activities such, document distribution, form review and closing NRTPs.
Performs quality review of supply QC testing.
Performs quality review of incoming supplies and releases for use into lab.
Assists in inputting and compiling metrics and providing reports as required.
Management and execution of quality system projects relating to areas such as records generation and maintenance and document control. Project types may include process improvements, LEAN initiatives, and platform updates.
Other duties as assigned such as: administrative activities and addressing audit comments
What We’re Looking For In You:
High School diploma and 6+ years of related experience (Bachelors Degree preferred).
Windchill experience preferred.
DOCS experience preferred.
Microsoft Office Suite experience preferred.
Medical device laboratory interaction preferred
