Overview
The Regulatory Compliance Coordinator is responsible for supporting the operations of the Regulatory Compliance department by assisting with daily processes as well as long-term projects to ensure that products sold by Company comply with local, state and national regulations.
Responsibilities
• Research regulatory guidelines for new product categories and monitor existing regulations for current product categories.
• Maintain Company Regulatory Guidelines and update, as needed.
• Audit internal and external regulatory compliance processes.
• Work with distribution centers to remedy regulatory issues related to inbound merchandise.
• Maintain updates to regulatory section of vendor website.
• Act as regulatory contact for brands (Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Free People)
• Distribute regulatory memos and/or training material to brands and internal stakeholders as needed
• Work with store teams to ensure Prop 65 signage is compliant
• Work with 3rd party service provider and vendors to complete Conflict Minerals reporting requirement
• Monitor CPSC recall website and respond to any CPSC communication in a timely manner
Qualifications
• 1-2 years’ experience in regulatory compliance or international business, within a corporate environment highly preferred
Job Skills
• High degree of proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
• Proactive, self-motivated and strong team player
• Strong business partner and customer service orientation
• Research and critical thinking skills
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field preferred

Some travel may be required.
