What is the opportunity?
As Regional Vice-President and reporting to the Vice-President-Head of Canadian Private Banking, you will be responsible for driving growth opportunities in the Atlantic region. In this dynamic role you will be responsible for the management of the private banking portfolio for the Region, leading a team of 6 to successfully execute Company and Private Banking strategic business priorities. You will also integrate, communicate, and accelerate local market strategies, and execute sales and market management activities with a focus on building capabilities through performance management and a local accountability model.
What will you do?
• Focus on the alignment of talent to local market opportunities. Involved with building, and sustaining relationships with high net worth clients, ensuring that their teams have a targeted focus on business owners and professionals with investable assets of at least $1 million, and/or a net worth of at least $3 million.
• Focuses on winning in their region by driving a highly effective Private Banking sales force to deliver on the strategic business priorities of: enhancing employee engagement, delivering the Black Card Experience, acquiring new households and growing client relationships through discovery and advice; resulting in enhanced client loyalty and maximized revenue for Company.
• Anticipates and capitalizes on emerging trends by aligning resources to capture market opportunity and ensuring that the entire market team is positioned for growth and winning against the competition.
• Acts as the primary point of contact and relationship leader within the market for High Net Worth client requirements and leads regional team in delivering Private Banking solutions aligned to P&CB’s business lines of Personal Lending, Personal Payments/Accounts, Cards, Investments, Business/Commercial Markets, Insurance along with strong partnering across the enterprise for other Wealth Management needs.
• Champions digital enablement by becoming an advocate of the Company mobile application and wallet and promoting regular usage by teaching and guiding clients on how to use it. Stay at the forefront of all new features and digital application capabilities on Company mobile application and wallet in order to educate clients on ease of use and ensure clients leave activated, able to transact and aware of availability for additional support
What do you need to succeed?
Must have
• University Degree in a related field
• Successful Completion of CSC/CPH
• Financial Planning Designation
• Branch Compliance Officer ( BCO )
• Minimum 5 years senior sales leadership experience; 2 or more years within a strategy role preferable and/or commercial banking experience.
Nice to have
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role in the Financial / Investment Industry
