The Regional Business Analyst will support the team by delivering critical data components to answer relevant business questions and support insightful and actionable analytics. The position will act on measurements and analysis to provide actionable insights to decision makers. The Stores Regional Business Analyst will provide essential data support to the Regional Team and Regional projects / meetings through the use of various tools and company data resources. Additionally, they will execute analytics, including developing and updating ongoing data and reporting and the identification of trends within the data. They will assist in the development of clear and succinct translation of the results through conversations, written statements, and presentations. Perform other duties as assigned.
Produce and analyze reports that Identify significant regional opportunities – collaborate with Region and District Leaders to recommend actions to drive results.
Review business results to support Merchandise execution opportunities utilizing regular price and markdown performance as well as AUR opportunities.
Self-motivator with intellectual curiosity and comfort working on ambiguous problems.
Strong analytics, data management, quantitative and problem-solving skills required.
Demonstrated ability working with large quantities of data, simplifying data to support Regional functional roles for projects and initiatives.
Provide initial analysis for floor allocation and new business adds by completing PON’s for stores.
Maximize Localization initiatives through analysis and recaps. Support in Identifying emerging trends and opportunities.
Plan and recap major Pre-sale events, provide daily sales plans in conjunction with events to achieve maximum sales results.
Provide Marketing Calendar opportunities and liabilities. Recap critical events and key days.
Support Stores in verifying significant stock opportunities. Initiate MVoice to communicate needs.
Proficiency with excel, large data manipulation, and new technologies.
Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
College degree preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals.
Must have above average mathematical skills, including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to manage multiple projects.
This position involves extended periods of sitting and the extended use of the computer and office equipment.
May also involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Intellectual curiosity and comfort working on ambiguous problems.
Proficiency with excel, large data manipulation, and new technology.
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department, store and company needs.
