A Shoreline Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center is a 24-hour emergency/multi-specialty practice in Shelton, Connecticut.
Company Shoreline Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Shelton, Connecticut is seeking an experienced Client Service and Marketing professional to join our 24-hour emergency/multi-specialty practice as Internal Referral Coordinator.
This position will work closely with our specialty departments to ensure that referring DVM and client needs are met. The Internal Referral Coordinator provides administrative and logistical support to the specialty teams, hospital manager, medical director and referral manager.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
Calling for referral paperwork, monitoring for completion of outgoing referral documents
Faxing and or mailing documents
Making follow up phone calls to clients and primary DVMs
Assisting with marketing agendas including setting up marketing materials and mailings, ordering marketing materials, photocopying and assisting referral manager with the delivery of materials to primary DVM offices
Submitting pet insurance forms
Assist the Referral Manager with event coordination and hosting for marketing, continuing education and referral veterinarian events
Preferred candidate will have at least one year experience working in a veterinary office
Detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a busy environment and be flexible to meet the changing, sometimes seasonal, needs of the hospital
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, be task driven and able to work with limited supervision
Clerical and cashiering skills
