POSITION TITLE: Regional Leader Warehousing Americas
LOCATION: New York
DEPARTMENT: Regional Indirects Cluster
REPORTING TO: Senior Director Global Procurement / Procurement Manager
POSITION
The purpose of the position Regional Leader Warehousing is to work in partnership with the Global Category Leadership team to manage indirect spend across the region.
The role will take ownership over the implementation of all indirect category strategy and business plans in the region and will act as commercial project leader on international cross functional projects within the category. The position is expected to be a key driver in creating savings and spend insight including transparency on processes and policies within the region.
The position shall ensure appropriate support and alignment from division, local business units and countries in the implementation and execution of the strategy and relevant projects. In all its activities the position is expected to act as a commercial expert working closely together with all of the relevant teams as well as any other relevant internal or external stakeholder.
The position is expected to deliver ‘Cost out’, ‘Value in’ and ‘Cash in’ for Company and requires close cooperation with a broad group Company business stakeholders.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Category Strategy
• In partnership with the global teams, develop and drive the implementation of short, medium, long term regional sourcing strategy to ensure best TCO and security of supply for Company.
• Align regional strategy and tactics with key internal stakeholders
• Map internal and external spend and create spend transparency
• Describe and develop the organization needed at the regional level to support implementation of strategies
• Negotiation and supplier relationship skills
• Play a leading role in supporting negotiations for the region and as part of the global organisation
• Target lowest global costs and highest value for Company globally
• Ensure Company is the preferred customer for key suppliers through effective supplier relationship management
Project Management
• Continuously analyse the supply market to identify new opportunities
• Align with all relevant business functions in achieving strategic company targets Secure sharing of information and support for the local organisations and business units
• Develop and participate in cross functional teams
• Continuous improvement of value and quality
• Implement, support and ensure the use of relevant strategic and operational sourcing processes in regards to sourcing of Logistics
• Identify and implement cost savings opportunities
• Communicate, co-operate and involve relevant regional stakeholders in order to drive the overall strategy.
• Support and actively promote the Group Procurement function
• Engage and secure an open and direct dialogue with regional stakeholders

• GREENFIELD category experience
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Experienced managing internal customer and external supplier relationships
• Experienced sourcing across Logistics/Warehousing
• Cross-functional & cross culture change management experience
• Experienced in development and implementation of sourcing strategies within a complex global organisation
• Strong regional working experience and knowledge of different cultures through the region
• Experience with sourcing systems and e-tool solutions
• Proven experience building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders in the HR / Marketing / Legal / Finance departments
• Capable of analysing independently the market, suppliers and alternative possibilities
• Min. 10 years relevant commercial experience within all aspects of strategic sourcing on regional or global level.
• Experience working within a regulated industry is a preference
• Team management / Functional leadership experience
