The Intern - General 2 performs duties in field of study or profession. The Intern - General 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.
The Intern - General 2 acts as an apprentice while completing formal education or immediately following graduation. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.
Company is seeking a Company Radio and AV Services intern that will be responsible for:
Assisting with Day to Day operations of Company Radio including assistance with Scheduling guests, special events, town halls, podcasts and more.
Assisting with Live broadcasts including acting as on air talent alongside Company Radio associates and Company Leadership.
Assisting with writing, recording and production of daily news segment: "Hi Highlights"
Assisting with recording and editing podcasts
Assist with managing internal social media related to Company Radio
Assist with producing Live streamed Video events and town halls
Assist with Documenting and producing Company Radio process documents and "playbook".
Assist with other duties and projects as assigned
By the completion of the internship, the student can expect to have:
Gained experience with Live Broadcast
Gained experience writing and producing daily news segment
Gained experience both on air and behind the scenes with producing Radio segments, promos and podcasts.
Gained experience and understanding of Event planning and Production.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree
Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Must not require sponsorship to work in the U.S. now or in the future
Must be passionate about Communications and Audio/Video production as well as about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer and associate experiences
Strong technical aptitude with eagerness to learn and grow new technical skills.
Have a strong academic history, with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA being desired
Be actively involved on-campus and/or in the community
Possess an interest in working in the healthcare industry, Journalism and/or, Radio/Television Production.
Basic working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; Especially Premier, Audition, After Effects, Media Encoder and PhotoShop
