This unique opportunity puts you at the center of marketing and thought leadership for higher education at Company website. In this role you will develop initiatives to share the perspectives of Company website and its ecosystem across technology, business, and our core nonprofit values. You will engage with our customers and some of the best and brightest minds in their fields to capture, distribute, and amplify technology innovation in education today.
Responsibilities
• Build thought leadership and executive engagement programs to establish Company website as an innovator and strategic partner in higher education technology.
• Drive planning and program development for executive events at key events: HED Summit, Executive Forum, Dreamforce, CIO Councils, third party industry conferences; and support sales-led regional workshops.
• Develop President/Provost & C-level messaging for higher education; develop and execute marketing plan designed to engage this executive audience.
• Maintain analyst relations program.
• Support higher ed strategic account sales program with content and sales enablement tools, and account based marketing campaign.
• Create and execute program to provide a holistic, cohesive vision for what Company can offer for students, educators, and institutions.
Skills and Experience
• Passion for technology and its opportunity to better enable higher education. Plugged into "what's hot" at the intersection of education, business, and technology - with a thirst for provocative ideas that are disrupting the industry.
• Collaborative and confident leader, effortlessly able to go beyond alignment and buy-in from others to inspiring into action towards common goals.
• Demonstrated ability to bootstrap and grow a new program at a fast-moving organization.
• Standout content strategy, messaging, writing, editing, and overall marketing skills. Nuanced storytelling is a forte.
• 7+ years in tech communications, content marketing, product marketing, content strategy (or all of the above?), with emphasis on marketing to C-level executives.
• BA/BS degree with strong academic record (MBA a plus).
• High energy, charismatic, innovative, and wildly creative -- with the execution skills to make it all count. Flexible and adaptive.
