The Company Operations & Engineering (COE) Production Management Department is responsible for the multiple clients, both internal and external that use various studios in the Company Broadcast Center. The role of the Production Manager is coordinate day-to-day studio production activity with the different shows using the facilities. Organizing the stage and technical crew, overseeing operations of the Company personnel, and preparing invoices for Finance to bill clients for the completed production day.
The COE Production Intern will:
* Work alongside the COE Production Managers who are responsible for the multiple productions that use various Studios in the Company Broadcast Center.
Join other Company personnel to attend production meetings held by the different shows to go over their needs for each individual day
Assist with coordinating the scheduling of the crew
Assist the Production manager on show days with client needs as they come up
Learn Staging and Technical needs on the studio floor as well as inside an active control room to get a complete understanding of how a studio operates as per the shows particular needs
TV/Radio or communications major with a specific focus on Studio Production.
Knowledge of current technologies such as networking and streaming a plus.
