Department Overview
- Represent US Digital Channels within the pods/factories or within daily BAU platform requirements / initiatives
- Work collaboratively with product partners across the organization to understand how platforms need to evolve to enhance/support product offerings, optimize the customer engagement and to integrate capabilities
- Recommend and implement strategies and tactics to maximize shareholder value (i.e., improving operating expenses, reducing risk, increasing sales)
Job Description
- Clearly articulate the business value of new features and unite stakeholders behind a shared vision
- Serve as a liaison to the technology team in order to translate requirements and user stories into work ready for development
- Passionate about developing a world class product, constantly striving to understand how we can improve
- Empathize with our clients and the end users to develop a product they want to use
- Work with the User Experience (UX) teams to understand our customer needs and that they are reflected in the end product. Leverage research, focus groups and testing as needed.
- Implement and deliver within commitment; understanding the accountabilities of all parties and program timelines and deliverables
- Has day to day responsibility within a project to keep all POD deliverables on track for timeline and budget
- Act as business representative within the POD, responsible for day to day decisions
- Ensure that the development team is developing in alignment with the stories created from the high level requirement
- Responsible for defect management and prioritization of defects
- Responsible for the creation and prioritization of the product backlog
- Escalate and interact with the Capability/Omni Business Owner on overall program progress, risks and issues
- Groom and maintain the Product backlog
- Ensure development stories have well defined acceptance criteria
- Attend Sprint planning meetings to help the team understand the requirements
- Be available for the scrum team at all times to answer questions and provide clarity
Job Requirements
Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.
- Undergraduate degree required; Post Graduate degree preferred
- 7+ years of relevant experience required
- Experience with Agile project delivery methodology
- Experience with Scrum methodologies
- Experience with stakeholder management
- Ability to facilitate conversation between stakeholders with competing priorities
- Proven track record in delivering complex projects
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive, solution focused approach
- Adaptable and receptive to change
- Able to work with geographically dispersed teams
- Familiar with development lifecycle
