Product Manager - Monetization, Ratings & Reviews

The Product Manager for Monetization and Reviews is accountable for digital platform product roadmap and customer journey for ratings & reviews as well as monetization. Success will be measured by focusing on customer journey and building partnerships across the organization to support the roadmap. A successful candidate will be driven, curious, resourceful, and embrace challenges with excitement and can do attitude. This position will report to the Sr. Manger of Site Tools and will own business requirements, financials and road-maps of feature sets for assigned areas and projects. This position has a high level of exposure to both the technical team and the business organization and the candidate must demonstrate leadership and influence with the ability to communicate a clear product vision to both.
Help create a strategic roadmap and drive requirements through partnerships with business teams
Manage Ratings & Reviews/UGC vendor relationships
Help define our digital monetization strategy, evaluating and testing new revenue opportunities, build new capabilities with our development teams, and managing vendor relationships.
It’s imperative that these monetization opportunities are balanced and appropriately integrated into a good consumer shopper experience – one that augments, does not distract, from the shoppers mission.
Deep appreciation of end-to-end consumer shopping experience
Monitor product for all defined KPI’s to ensure best in class customer experience as part of daily DNA.
Continually monitor industry trends and identify new digital opportunities to fill product gaps that drive growth.
Help build out business cases and financial models to support new opportunities and contribution to overall budget
Define business requirements and feature sets, as well as product research and platform specifications for approved release cycles.
Proficiency with scaled agile project lifecycles
Work across teams and projects to synchronize and manage deliverables.
Proactively identify issues and partner with key business leaders at senior levels.
Represent the business team in all aspects of the project life cycle.
Core Competencies & Accomplishments:
2+ years relevant product management experience with proven track record of working collaboratively with internal and external business partners in delivery ROI positive results.
Experience with Ratings & Review platforms – Bazaar Voice preferred but not required
Experience with monetization platforms
Excellent analytical skills with an understanding of KPI’s and financial models to recognize a practical solution over the complicated.
Superior relationship-building with cross-functional teams to deliver results through excellent partnership, communication and negotiating skills.
Experience with agile development methodology preferred.
Attention to detail with the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, adjust priorities, and work in a continuously changing environment to meet critical deadlines
Highly motivated to be self-sufficient and able to operate without close supervision
Experience conceptualizing, evaluating and negotiating 3rd party strategic partnerships.
Strategic thinking along with solid execution skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree
