Position Profile
Overview
This internship will be part of the MBCI Product Engineering Services Team. The goal of this internship will be to support key initiatives for standardizing product documentation and improving productivity. This position will be consist of 60% Product engineering support and 40% project work within in the areas of focus below.
Students will spend the internship working with product engineering teams to developing new drawings installation instructions and gain insight into the industry.
Accountabilities
- Shop floor drawings for 3D models to supporting manufacturing facilities
- Consolidate drawings to new 3D models & obsolete affected drawings
- Review cabinet installation instructions and provide details for improvements
- Create 3D models & shop floor drawings
- Create 3D models of design requests on an as needed basis
- Assist with rapid prototype request
- All other duties as may be assigned at management's discretion
Skills and Experience
- Applicants should be able to utilize Autodesk software’s. (Inventor and AutoCAD)
- College or university student with an Engineering focus preferred
- Prior project experience preferred
