Develop and execute a sourcing strategy for service categories within their assigned SII package, including working with key stakeholders, monitoring/managing vendor performance, and tracking initiative compliance and savings delivery.
Strategy and Planning
Support development and execution of a package strategy for assigned cost package
Provide input and expertise on the selection and management of vendors
Assist in implementation strategy and development of program management
Generate cost savings by developing and executing sourcing strategies across all savings levers (rate, compliance, and consumption)
Manage bidding, negotiation, and vendor selection process to ensure products/services are purchased at competitive prices
Monitor spend compliance and take appropriate remediating action (as needed)
Policy, Process and Procedures
Improve global sourcing standards, policies, and procedures
Support management of relationships with key vendors
Develop close consultative relationships with category stakeholders in the LOBs and functions
Work closely with stakeholders to improve the timeliness and efficiency of data gathering and reporting processes
Be a liaison to divisional or functional business leadership
Support rollout of critical systems (e.g. Ariba or others) to spend categories within their assigned cost package
Vendor management experience
Background in commercial analysis/negotiation and experience with KPI and service level agreements
Expert knowledge of facilities and services, i.e., HVAC, plumbing, electrical etc.
Breadth and depth sourcing strategy knowledge / experience
Experience working with key sourcing tools (e.g., Ariba or others)
Bachelor's degree is required
