Job Description
Company Annecy is currently seeking an Intermediate Tools Programmer M/F to strengthen the production team.
The incumbent will design, implement and ensure the proper functioning of the game editor and related tools that will develop the potential of the engine and increase the efficiency of the production team.
Key responsibilities:
• Work on tools and tech for guiding procedural world building
• Design, implement, and iterate on new and existing sytems and tools
• You must be comfortable working in both C++ and python code on a regular basis
• You must be good at undestanding requirements and clearly communicating with cross functional teams
Qualifications
2-5 years’ experience in software tools programming, ideally in the video game industry or equivalentand minimum a bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering or equivalent training.
• Relevant experience as a Tools Programmer on a AAA project is a big plus
• Working experience with DCC tools, especially Houdini
• Experience with houdini C++ engine api
• Experience with houdini python module (hou)
• Automated build/testing experience
Essential Skills
• Good english speaking level is required
• Professional experience with C++ and python
• Experience working on game engine and/or tools
• Familiarity with C# and WPF a plus
• Debugging and problem solving skills
• Ability to accurately predict task duration and understand dependencies
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Results-oriented
