JOB PURPOSE
Develops, establishes and maintains relationships with high net worth clients and their families. Coordinates and leads a team approach to financial planning, investment management, banking, credit and trust services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Develops and fosters full balance sheet relationships for Private Bank clients.
•Facilitates the financial planning process and team approach to result in financial solutions for clients and drive business.
•Actively networks to identify and target new opportunities to develop and expand client relationships.
•Meets with existing and prospective clients to assess financial service needs and propose solutions.
•Provides financial advice and counsel to existing and potential customers within appropriate legal constraints.
•Develops and maintains professional referral networks.
•Builds relationships with internal referral partners and identifies when partners need to be brought in as part of the client experience and wealth management team.
•Coordinates the sponsorship of client events to generate business opportunities.
•Maintains a working knowledge of all Company and Company Investments, Inc. products and services in order to effectively cross-sell all appropriate services.
•Comply with all Federal, State, and local consumer protection laws governing loan origination including the SAFE Act, its implementing regulation (Regulation G), and SAFE Act registration and renewal rules as defined by the bank.
•Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
•Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
•Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
•May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.
•Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Company corporate culture in all actions and words.
•Takes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulate.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
•Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or equivalent, required.
•5-8 years’ prior wealth management, private banking and/or investment management experience.
•Proven track record in developing business in the private banking and investment management industry.
•Proficient in various credit strategies, bank products/services and investment options.
•Excellent communication and relationship building skills with ability to build strong partnerships with internal business partners.
•Holds leadership roles in community organizations.
•Must possess Series 65 license. Series 66, Series 7 and Life & Health Insurance licenses desirable.
•Proficient in ability to present to small and large audiences.
•Must be registered as a MLO as per the S.A.F.E. Act requirements.
REGISTERED MORTGAGE LOAN ORIGINATOR (MLO)
•This position requires you to act as a Bank MLO, which is defined as an individual authorized by the Bank to take mortgage loan applications, offer a mortgage, arrange a mortgage, assist a consumer in obtaining or applying to obtain a mortgage, negotiate a mortgage, otherwise obtain or make a mortgage for another person, represent to the public (through advertising or other means of communication) that such person can or will perform any of these activities, or refer a consumer to a loan originator (Note: Except those employees of the Bank who do not discuss particular credit terms available and do not refer the consumer, based on the employee’s assessment of the consumer’s financial characteristics to a particular Bank MLO) for compensation or gain. All MLOs will be required to register as an MLO complying with the SAFE Act requirements.
•This position is authorized to act as a Bank Closed-End MLO, which is defined as any position designated to perform the activities of a Bank MLO for closed-end transactions, and thus subject to specific Truth-in-Lending Act and Regulation Z Loan Originator requirements.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
