Responsibilities – Experience Design
• Design the bot user experience for all platforms and for all contact modalities
• Collaborate with business architects / product management in user story definition focused on user goals and tasks.
• Establish and track experience goals and interaction design and usability requirements
• Design and iterate innovative user interfaces and interactions, which result in improved user productivity and experience.
• Create alternative UI design solutions and collaborate with stakeholders and business architects to evaluate conceptual designs.
• Participate in the creation of interaction design specification documents including conceptual models, user flow diagrams, wireframes, page schematics, and low/high-fidelity prototypes for use by a wide range of audiences.
• Deliver detailed designs to agile scrum teams
• Partner with the development team to drive the successful implementation of designs and to resolve implementation issues.
• Work with the design, engineering, and business architect teams to define vision for future experiences and iterations.
• Maintain familiarity with user experience design trends and best practices
Experience and Qualifications:
• A portfolio demonstrating superior design skills and deliverables from a user-centered design process
• Bachelor’s degree in a design discipline, HCI, Human Factors, Computer Science, post-secondary education in related field, or equivalent work experience
• 4-6 years' experience in user interface / user interaction design
• Experience with speech recognition, natural-language processing, and dialog generation is preferred
• Previous experience designing service-based software delivered across web and mobile interfaces
• Experience with ideation techniques such as brainstorming and design workshops
• Experience with a range of low, medium, and high-fidelity prototyping tools (Axure, Invision, Photoshop, etc.)
• A solid understanding of both quantitative and qualitative user research methods
• Demonstrable understanding of the capabilities and limitations of front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery) as they relate to design
• Ability to quickly think and assimilate complex issues and ideas
• Excellent skills in problem analysis including the ability to identify and describe the "right" problem from a set of data of varying types
• Ability to solve complex problems and drive projects from concept to conclusion; work independently, manage multiple tasks, and set priorities with direction or feedback from management and team members
• Ability to interact with and influence others effectively via teamwork and diplomacy
• Possess a positive can-do attitude and proven track record driving to results
• Excellent interpersonal and strong presentation skills
• A passion for great UX design and how it impacts user experience, loyalty, and delight
• Creative writing skills are a plus
