Pool Attendants / Kidtopia Attendants facilitate fun and enjoyment for our Resort Guests and Members. They work outdoors in the sunshine as well as indoors, alongside families and children. Attendants watch over the pool deck and slides, maintain the cleanliness of the area, stock needed supplies such as towels and fulfill guest requests. Attendants will assist with check-in and enforce all rules on the pool decks. They also work in our Kids Camp, ("Kidtopia") helping to supervise children, provide fun and crafts and a safe place to play. Pool Attendants / Kidtopia Attendants work closely together with Lifeguards to help monitor for safety.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following:
Fulfill all job functions of a Pool Attendant as well as a Kidtopia (indoor/outdoor)Attendant.
Monitor the pool deck for safety, cleanliness and guest needs.
Greet guests, families and children with smiles and provide a warm welcome.
Perform Kidtopia Attendant job functions including but not limited to supervising young children, assisting with recreational activities, helping with crafts, providing a fun and enriching environment for your youngest guests.
Empty towel bins, restock towels, pick up trash, empty trash, etc.
Re-stock supplies such as towels. Remove used supplies, constantly refreshing with new supplies.
Firmly enforce rules on the pool deck s and slides with an appropriate hospitality demeanor.
Assist food and beverage Associates and Lifeguards where needed. Help provide an extra set of eyes on F&B needs and safety.
Check-in guests to the pool areas.
Be an ambassador for the Resort. Offer your knowledge and assistance for Resort amenities and services.
Maintain the cleanliness in designated pool areas outdoor spaces such as; entrances, courtyards, walkways, pool facilities, etc.
Assure that all restrooms are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition.
Assure that all trash receptacles throughout the designated pool areas are promptly emptied and maintained.
Maintain cleaning supplies and inventory.
Report facility issues promptly to Office Coordinator, immediate supervisor or manager.
Follow safety procedures to include reporting of unsafe conditions or work practices to immediate supervisor or manager.
Adhere to all Standards of Conduct as outlined in the Associate Handbook.
